Frédéric Keck is a philosopher and an ethnologist at the Laboratoire d’Anthropologie Sociale. He works on the philosophical history of anthropology, and on ecological and health disasters. His publications include Lévi-Strauss et la pensée sauvage (PUF, 2004), Claude Lévi-Strauss, une introduction (La Découverte, 2005), Lucien Lévy-Bruhl, entre philosophie et anthropologie. Contradiction et participation (CNRS, 2008) and Un monde grippé (Flammarion, 2010).
