Pierre Crétois

Pierre Crétois is a lecturer in philosophy at Université Bordeaux Montaigne. His thesis on the emergence of modern property rights in the second half of the eighteenth century was published as Le renversement de l’individualisme possessif, de Hobbes à l’État social (classiques Garnier). Since completing his doctorate, he has extended his research into contemporary issues, including the commons and current transformations in appropriation regimes. He has organized several conferences and edited many volumes and journal issues on these topics.
