Caitlin Zaloom

Caitlin Zaloom is editor in chief at Public Books. Associate professor of social and cultural analysis at NYU, she also directs the metropolitan studies program. She is the author of Out of the Pits: Traders and Technology from Chicago to London. Her current research explores the relationship between the financial economy and the American middle class family.
