Michael Kwass

Michael Kwass is Associate Professor at John Hopkins University ( Baltimore, Maryland, USA) and a specialist of early modern France. His research stretches from the age of Louis XIV to the French Revolution, concentrating on issues of state formation, political culture, Enlightenment social thought, and, most recently, globalization and consumption.
