Carl Havelange is a historian and a photographer. A research director at the FNRS (National Scientific Research Foundation), he teaches cultural history at the University of Liège. He particularly dedicates his research to the cultural history of vision. He currently works more specifically on the relationships between the arts and the sciences. With Lucienne Strivay, Amandine Servais and Viktoria von Hoffmann, he runs the “Cultures sensibles” research center.
