Marie Inés Harté

Currently a joint doctoral student at Sciences Po under the supervision of Sandrine Lefranc and at Colombia’s Externado University under the direction of Patricia Herrera Kit, Marie Inés Harté is preparing a thesis on the notion of the victim in the final report of the Colombian Truth Commission, based on a study of the actors involved in the production of the narrative.
With a Master’s degree in International Studies from Sciences Po Bordeaux, she began her professional career in Colombia, at the National Center for Historical Memory, as a research assistant in the Memory and Forced Displacement project, where she was trained in the methodology of historical memory and emblematic cases. Since 2013, Marie Inés Harté has been a lecturer at Colombia’s Externado University, and in 2022 joined the Center for Research and Special Projects (CIPE) of the same university’s Faculty of Finance, Government and International Relations.
