Marion Chottin



Marion Chottin is a philosophy teacher in secondary school. She holds an agrégation in philosophy and in 2010 defended a thesis in the history of modern philosophy entitled “Seeing and judging. The Molyneux Problem and its Philosophical Issues in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries”.

Associate researcher at the CHSPM (University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne), her work focuses on the theories of perception of the classical age and the Enlightenment, on eighteenth-century empiricism and the figures of the blind and blindness in philosophical history.
