Bilel Benbouzid

Bilel Benbouzid is a lecturer at the Université Paris Est Marne la Vallée, at the Laboratoire Interdisciplinaire Science Innovation Société (LISIS). His research focuses on the state of knowledge in security governance from a sociology of science perspective. In September 2011, he defended his thesis entitled “La prévention situationnelle: genèse et développement d’une science pratique”. He is currently co-director of the project “Innovation dans l’expertise” (INNOX), funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche, which aims to examine how and to what extent modelling and digital simulation are becoming a form of expertise used in public action to predict, anticipate or forecast.
