Constance Bantman is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure Lyon-LSH and has an agrégation in English. She teaches at the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom. Her research focuses on the history of the anarchist movement in France and from a transnational perspective. Her publications include The French Anarchists in London, 1880-1914. Exile and Transnationalism in the First Globalisation(Liverpool University Press, 2013) and Jean Grave and the Networks of French Anarchism, 1857-1939 (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021).
