Denis Bocquet is a professor at the Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture de Strasbourg (AMUP Laboratory). After studying history with Alain Corbin and then with Robert Ilbert, he devoted himself to a social-scientific reading of the history of urban planning, first in Rome and then in Berlin. He is the author of Rome Ville Technique (Rome, 2007) and, with Pascale Laborier, Sociologie de Berlin (Paris, 2016).
